Towing and Ice breaking

The tugboat Baus entered our operations in 2012. The tug is gradually being modified and refreshed to suit the needs of Port of Skellefteå, which is different from the vessel's previous service.

Baus was built in Norway in 1970 and has mostly served in the North Sea or as a harbor tug in Finland and Norway.

The main engine is an Atlas MAK of 3200 hp and delivers a bollard pull of at least 32 tons. She has a 425 hp bow thruster which is a lot for a boat of this size.
