Notification of arrival must be made at least 24 hours before arrival and at the latest when the ship leaves the previous port. If the voyage will last less than 24 hours or if the port of call is not known, this information must be notified as soon as it is available.
The tugboat Baus entered our operations in 2012. The tug is gradually being modified and refreshed to suit the needs of Port of Skellefteå, which is different from the vessel's previous service.
Port of Skellefteå is included in Luleå's pilotage area. Guidelines regarding maximum dimensions for ships and tugboat requirements, darkness and wind restrictions etc. within the pilotage area can be found on the Swedish Maritime Administration's website.
