All port calls to Port of Skellefteå must be notified at least 24 hours before arrival. The notification is made to the Swedish Maritime Administration.
The tugboat Baus entered our operations in 2012. The tug is gradually being modified and refreshed to suit the needs of Port of Skellefteå, which is different from the vessel's previous service.
Port of Skellefteå is included in Luleå's pilotage area. Guidelines regarding maximum dimensions for ships and tugboat requirements, darkness and wind restrictions etc. within the pilotage area can be found on the Swedish Maritime Administration's website.
